In my opinion, Sunrise Beach is the most serene and picturesque beach on Koh Lipe, with a refreshing breeze throughout the day and ample opportunities for water sports and snorkeling. I appreciated being able to explore the entire island on foot without renting a motorbike or car.
A leisurely 15-20 minute walk from Sunrise Beach takes you to Pattaya Beach, so choosing a hotel on Sunrise Beach gives you the best of both worlds – gorgeous beaches while still being close to the action.
Stretching for almost 1.5 km, Sunrise Beach is the longest beach on Koh Lipe. During low tide, you can even walk along the coast to Sunset Beach if you’re lucky.
Two small islands, Koh Kra and Koh Usen, situated right in front of Sunrise Beach, are ideal for snorkeling and kayaking. We highly recommend a kayaking excursion to these islands from Sunrise Beach!
